Judge rules in NY Mets’ favor in hot dog dispute (AP)

A federal judge has ruled in favor of the New York Mets in a ballpark dispute over kosher hot dogs. Kosher Sports Inc. had sued the Queens Ballpark Company, the team subsidiary that operates Citi Field, in 2010. The food vendor claimed the team violated a 2008 contract by preventing it from selling kosher hot dogs on Friday nights and Saturdays.

After a quiet winter, the Mets are reporting to camp with significantly more questions than answers.

Although their lineup and rotation are mostly intact heading into spring training, the Mets are not sure how much production they will receive from youngsters Lucas Duda and Ruben Tejada, or from inconsistent veterans David Wright and Jason Bay.

The Mets also don't know what they can expect from left-hander Johan Santana, first baseman Ike Davis and second baseman Daniel Murphy, all of whom are coming off major injuries.
