somehow I don’t think the team should be auctioning the tickets.
the ticket prices should be whatever they are.
i think it breaks an implicit contract with the fans.
if the team is doing badly do they lower the ticket prices?
Auction away the tickets? Um… the mets will be out of playoff contention at that point. Have fun getting 20k to show up.
Bob: With the way they will have lost it by then, I agree with you. At least last night the Yankees knew they were out of it, so the fans could just sit back and enjoy the moment. But two years in a row of choking will really take the wind out of the sails for the finale.
